In the first in a series of education classes, pre-service education students were exposed to lessons that included hands-on activities, videos, and exercises in MinecraftEDU on the topics of particle physics and quantum mechanics. The lessons were originally designed for middle school students. The college students actively participated in the lessons and were then given instruction to navigate the game as well as tools to develop their own lessons in MinecraftEDU. Examples of student-created lessons in MinecraftEDU in their content area will be presented. Finally, the results of a pre and post technology survey are presented.
