Battle of Nations: Gamification in the Classroom

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

In this presentation, I will demonstrate how to develop a multi-level game environment within the classroom. I created a game called “Battle of Nations.” In the game, students explore Europe through quests, fighting monsters, and working in guilds. Each class is a nation, and each student is a citizen within a nation. There are nation against nation challenges and citizen against citizen challenges. Students are much more engaged in learning about Europe through this game setting.
