As Pokemon GO rises as one of the fastest growing mobile applications ever, and garners more face time per day than Facebook or Twitter, what should educators make of this phenomena? When you return to school, you'll have a good number of students that are enjoying the game too. We'll review what augmented reality is and how it is essentially different than most apps, how layering 'realities' can be enjoyable and educational, and what to expect in the coming months.
